One Way Rental Van for Moving Interstate
It can be such a hassle to have to get a rental truck returned; more so if you are moving interstate. Imagine the time you’d have to spend on the road when you could have spent it doing something worthwhile, or simply catching up on rest.
The good thing is that you have many options such as a one way rental van. The bad thing is that one-way rentals may cost slightly more than a standard rental. One of the reasons is the perk that you get out of not having to travel a good distance to return the truck. Another reason is that companies that offer one-way rental services operate in a large-scale and have established branches (and reputation) and can therefore demand a higher price.
To cut costs, you need to make accurate measurements. You wouldn’t want a one way rental van that cannot accommodate everything that you intend to transport. However, you wouldnâ??t want a rental van that is too big, either, since renting a larger van means paying for a higher price.
Ask about prices, mileage limits and any extra fees. For example, the company might offer pick up services. There might also be hidden costs there somewhere. Learn about your insurance policy. Most would cover rental cars but not vehicles that are involved in delivery. A one-way rental van definitely reduces hassle, but it does cost money â?? and you know what they say about how anyone cannot be too careful with money matters.
