If you are considering investing in a zero turn mower, or already have,
you may be a little afraid of driving it. With a bit of time and
practice, you will be spinning and turning like a pro. Learning how to
drive a zero turn mower is completely different than driving a regular
tractor type mower. Most zero turn mowers use two handles, one on each
side, to steer it. This will take a little getting used to, but once you
have learned, it is easier than steering with a steering wheel. The way
that these handles work is pretty simple. The left handle when pushed
forward will turn you to the right. The right handle, when pushed
forward will turn you to the left. If you want to go forward, simply
push both handles forward together. If you want to go backwards,pull
both handles back toward you. To stop, it is as easy as not pushing the
handles in any direction.Just let them go.

With a little practice, you are sure to be pleased with a zero turn
mower. These great machines can cut your mowing time in half, and can be
fun to operate.
